Overview

ZS-0S622MI is a STM-4 optical transmission system, whose technical performances are fully complied with ITU-T and Chinese SDH recommendations. This system is developed based on ASICs and which is benefit of high integration, flexible construction and strong network adaptability.

ZS-OS622MI provides 2 622.020Mb/s aggregate optical ports of E and F and 4 155.520Mb optical ports of A,B,C and D. It possesses the network elements timing function of ITU-T G.813 recommendation, and 14×14 VC4 cross-connection with the granularity of VC4/VC3/VC12 and the channel protection function. ZS-OS622MI has the following usages:

1.As an ADM, it can be inserted in STM-4 ring or a line which provide 4×STM-1 optical tributaries;

2.As a terminal, it can multiplex 4×STM-1 to a STM-4 line port;

3.ZS-OS622MI can also be used as an optical cross-connecting equipment, which can cooperate with the SDH systems from other venders to upgrade a STM-1 to a STM-4 smoothly without disturbing of the original network management system (NMS).

Provides 2×STM-4 optical line ports, which can realize independent service-assignment or 1+1 protection between the two optical interfaces

Provides 4×STM-1 optical line ports, which can be configured either as line ports or tributary ports. When they are line ports they can realize independent service-assignment or 1+1 protection;

Supports VC4/VC3/VC12 non-blocking cross-connect between the 6 optical ports;

Supports network of point to point, chain and ring, providing Auto-Protected Switching for all the tributaries;

Supports standard SEC function of ITU-T G.813 recommendation, provides timing synchronous interface, implements switching of multiple timing sources, supports SSM function;

The SEC supports Tracing/Holding and Free running mode

Provides D1-D3 ECC channel, network management adopting TCP/IP communication protocol;

Provides F (Ethernet) and f (RS232) NMS interface, network management platform EasySDHTM can realize ITU-T recommendations five functions of resources, configuration, alarm, performance, and security, etc.;     

Network management platform EasySDHTM can realize software remote downloading, with software live-upgrading capability, being easy to maintain, can realize remote monitoring;      Through replacing optical devices, supports ultra-long distance (≤80km), long distance (≤50km) and short distance (≤30km) optical transmission; the Auto-Laser-Shutdown can be supported either
